For oral or sole-source feeding
The new Ensure Gold is scientifically formulated with a unique combination of HMB and Triple Protein Blend. When we consume whey protein, It will breakdown into amino acid leucine. Amino acid further breakdown and convert to HMB. HMB is a nutrient that helps reduce muscle degradation. HMB can help to slow down muscle breakdown and preserve muscle mass. Once muscle breakdown is reduced by HMB, Triple Protein Complex and calories can help to rebuild muscle.
For Tube Feeding
Follow physician's / dietitian's directions. When starting tube feeding, the flow rate, volume and dilution are dependent on patient's condition and tolerance. Care should be taken to avoid contamination of this product during preparation and administration.
Instructions For Use
For a standard serving of 230ml, pour 195ml of water into a glass. Gradually add 6 scoops (enclosed) or 53.8g of Ensure powder while stirring and mix until dissolved.
Storage
Opened can should be covered and stored in a cool, dry place, but not refrigerated. Once opened, use contents within 3 weeks. Reconstituted Ensure should be used promptly or covered, refrigerated and used within 24 hours.
